Privacy notice

What we collect

• Riot accounts — Riot ID, PUUID and summoner id for players in the leagues we cover, plus their match history, ranks and champion mastery. Retrieved from the Riot Games API.
• Twitch viewers — when you play a minigame in our stream chat, we store your Twitch login and the answers you gave, so a round can be scored and a leaderboard shown.
• Discord sign-in — when you sign in to our players' and staff portal with Discord, we store your Discord user id, username, display name and avatar hash, whether your Discord account has two-factor authentication on, and the ids of the roles you hold in the Ionized Discord server. We use them to decide what you may open on this site and to show you who you are signed in as. If you are one of our players, staff may link the account to your player page on this site. Every sign-in, refused sign-in and change of access is written to an audit log.
• Contact forms — whatever you type into them, and your email address, so we can reply.
• Server logs — IP address, user agent and requested URL, kept for operational and security purposes only.

What we do not do

We do not sell personal data, we do not use it for advertising or profiling, and we do not share it with third parties beyond the services needed to run the site (hosting, and the Riot, Twitch and Discord APIs the data comes from).

Signing in with Discord

We ask Discord only for your basic profile and your membership of the Ionized server. We do not get your e-mail address, your list of servers or your messages. We do not keep your Discord access token: we revoke it as soon as we have read your profile and roles. Your roles are checked again every time you sign in, and our Discord bot may check them in between, so your access ends soon after you leave the server or lose the role. If we turn a sign-in down, we create no account for you, and our server log notes the refusal with your Discord user id. When your access ends, the record stays so the audit log still makes sense; ask us and we delete it. Your avatar picture is loaded from Discord's own servers.

Your rights

You can ask what we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted. Write to post@ionized.no and we will answer within 30 days. If you are a player and would rather not appear on this site at all, say so and we will remove you — you do not have to give a reason.

Riot Games data

Match and account data comes from the Riot Games API and remains subject to Riot's own terms and privacy policy. We cache it to keep this site fast and to avoid hammering their service. If Riot removes or changes data at source, it changes here on the next sync.
